Coming From Ontario
There are many reasons folks choose to pull up stakes and move to Nova Scotia. For some, it is to get out of the 'rat race' - the congestion, hustle and bustle of big city life. Others are choosing to get closer to nature and to re-invest themselves in their (new) communities. Perhaps you have the luxury of being able to work remotely and are no longer anchored to an office cubicle.

For many, when you add all of the possible reasons why Nova Scotia is attractive, the addition of the powerful economic pull cannot be overlooked. Very simply, real estate is DRAMATICALLY less expensive throughout Nova Scotia.

There are more than a few folks here who decided to "cash in their chips", sell their homes in Ontario and were able to purchase similar (or nicer) homes in Nova Scotia and pocket the difference. Seems to make the "Freedom 55" goal that much more attainable
